Santa Monica erosion See the fencing? Just behind are lovely benches to view the ocean beach in shade from large trees. How long until the city of Santa Monica will need to move the fences and benches? What a traffic mess thst will be!

When I came back to my son's place at around 6:00PM, there was a compressor type machine and hose at the man hole in front of the house next door. It was very noisy. Hours went by and it continued. The noise has since increased so I went to investigate. A huge truck! A quick search and I discovered what the truck does. This country girl has never been witness to such a truck! A lot has changed in city maintenance. I have not had the privilege of experiencing such sucking and flushing! There is a first for everything I suppose. I feel really bad for the people next door. I learned today that someone there has cancer. I wonder if the city notifies homeowners and residents when such maintenance takes place. Perhaps they tell owners. We were not told, although my son is a renter. Perhaps it was an emergency. If scheduled, it would be nice to get a post card alerting the people in the area when such work and noise will take place. Like a kid in a candy store, I was bug eyed! 100's of guitars. I forgot to get strings! Hung out for 2 hours browsing at the Hollywood Guitar Center. My friend from college works there. What a blast to see Bill. I found a Martin I would like, but at $1998.00 l resisted. A nice Tayor for $689.00. Do guitarists ever have  enough? I will have to go back again. Messa Boogie and Sam Ash are across the street.

Trees!!!!!!!

I met and Element owner in Los Angeles. He E camped and was interested in petroglyphics. After we said good bye I saw on his E, what appeared to me to be a catalytic converter  " Cat" claw I first heard of these from the element owners club. There seemed to be a large amount of theft of cat in Detroit and Chicago when the recession of 2008 hit. I think the theft has eased up, but I did read of people having them stolen...some Element owners more than once! Well maybe I was wrong.. looks like he may have made his own with barbed wire. The road rocks have been tough on the E. Looks like I have to take a few days to do some repairs. Sterio speakers suck and interior light mods are also needed. 

Picked up this to store little things. The glue on the velcro is not very strong on the fabric.  I can stitch it or try some other kind of velcro that I have. I also may try the command or 3M ? plastic removable wall hooks.

After stopping in NJ to visit my sister for a few days, I pushed the Tardis to Colorado. I made it to Ft. Collins and saw an old friend from back east. A small rock hit my windshield, which led to a  1inch crack thst grew to 10 inches in a day. After calling around and not wanting to wait for 4-7days, I found a windshield man that could for me in the next day. He did a great job and was super nice. I also have good insurance so the cost was $0!
