The Elemental Gypsy

In trying to keep up with a Blog I am just checking in hope everybody is well. Tooled around La today. Saw awesome Element. I have been using instagram more. Following Element people. So much to do on line but I am so plugged in already with the daily crap that I am not using the tech for my creative life. I did install some vst plugins. Ableton 10 . Can't wait to use it again. Rebirth. Working on repacking, rebuilding the inside of mine for a new journey. Interesting with travel, van life, I find it fluid, depending on where I am going and what the weather is. Where I am going and what stage I am in life I am, denotes what I am hauling and packing. It's great fun. I have only just started, 16 months. The "stuff" sold and gone. Still need to fine tune my life possessions, yet it is manageable now. Would like  to go to the van build. My doubt is my energy and money that holds me back. Had a good cross country trip. Arived in L.A. First stop was Cleveland.  Went to the rock and roll hall of fame. Saw the lake and the nice parks. Cleveland Rocks. When I stopped in Iowa, I decided to mail boxes ahead to lighten my load. In Cedar Rapids I went to the Czechoslovakian village and then the indoor pool. Nice talking to the ladies.  I love Iowa.  It was windy in Amana, set my tent.Pita.. and all through Nebraska and Wyoming the wind was fierce. In Salt Lake City I had the best pizza and salad that I have had in a year. Met my pen pal friend. Wat cool. Met another great lady. Way cool. Here is her tiny house.

I finished selling and giving away all the things I no longer need. On my way west again. Love the wide open spaces. No apartment, no plan but to go to Colorado and Utah on my way to Los Angeles. The Element is over flowing and started jettising things already. To be a minimalist I do not need 12 t shirts. My plan is to wear the shirts I don't need to keep then throw them away when they get dirty. Same with socks and underwear.

My thoughts and plans. 2017 had been really good at times and trying and frustrating and soul searching at others. I didn't know WTF I wanted to do with my life. Discovery leads to having a plan to makes things easier. Focus. to Get the steps done so you can get to where your envision yourself. Nothing like driving 1000 miles to be standing on top of the Rockies to reset your soul! I'm free. At first,I was traveling and driving and exploring. it was a little odd to not be on line for hours and hours day in and day out or not having TV,  but then it got so easy to just be in the world. No physical newspapers is odd. I used to love the small town papers. If they have a web presence it usually sucks. I think not having local newspapers to inform citizens of the community will be the down fall of us all. I was in the mountains, cities, deserts beaches.  and taking photos and videos and putting them in my google drive, so I only used my cell phone for that and maps and ...

I went to the junk yard and got a tail light after fighting with my insurance company for 7 months.
