Power Add Solar Panel Update - 1 year later

I really like this panel. Power Add 50 Watt. Good set up for me.  It was $99 on Amazon. I shopped ebay and Amazon for solar panels and Amazon had the best choices.

When it was hot out I put my car in the shade and the panel in the sun. Or I would put it on my dash or in the back under the sunroof while driving. It charges my Power Station and it can charge things directly at 5v with many adapters.
Pretty inexpensive set up to get started on the road for one or 2 people.

I got a Shumacher Power Station jump starter and that was a good safety item. Not only does it jump your car but it can charge via solar!
Moving from the house I hardly used electricity for almost a whole year. Sure I stayed at my son's for months off and on, but the travel time was mostly the sun.

I bought the Power Station at Walmart on line and it was shipped to store for $90 or so 2 years ago. Still working well. I used it for a few trips on the east coast and charged it via the 12 v outlet in the car and at home. Then I got the Power Add and it all works well.
There are a lot of other brands of battery stations out now that look really good, with many types of options and are a tad smaller and less bulky. The tool companies have them with radios and such. Not sure if they have jumper cables.

I have a Schumacher battery power station.
It is a 400W inverter with (2 ) 110 outlets, a USB and (2)12v
It has direct wired jumper cables for jump starting a car.
It has a little LED light
It has an air compressor with attachments.
I can charge the Power station with the solar panel or with the 12v from the running car.
It can be plugged into shore power to charge it when at a camp ground or house.
It saved me from calling AAA or asking someone to help me jump start the Element.
The times when I left my fog lights on (at least 3 times) and my radio for too long as my battery was weak anyway. I jumped started a guy at a rest area. I think it was in Missouri when his car battery died. I pumped up an air mattress.
